The Commission on Mission:

1. Shall make the necessary recommendations to the Conference for the more effective implementation of the Decree “Ad Gentes” of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council in order to foster the missionary activity of the Church in the Philippines.

2. Shall promote the spirit of the missions and develop missionary awareness in the particular churches in the country in line with the objectives and directives of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.

3. Shall promote the Pontifical Mission Societies in every diocese and shall encourage Lay Missionary Organizations and missionary formation groups.

4. Shall help the Conference set up the National Missionary Council.  This body shall help plan, direct and review the activities of the singular service of missionary cooperation at the national level.
