The Committee on Basic Ecclesial Communities:
a) Shall promote BEC as a new way of being Church.
b) Shall coordinate nationwide BEC activities.
c) Shall clarify the nature and role of the BECs in the ecclesiastical organization.
d) Shall propose to the CBCP guidelines on BEC.
e) Shall coordinate the participation of its member Episcopal Commissions.
